Commemorating at once the 250th anniversary of republic's founding and the Honorable Frederick Douglass’ inspired questioning and urging of her claim to sacred liberty–crystalized in his historic "What to the American Slave is Your Fourth of July?" speech–this yearly gathering affords American civic, business, and community leaders, as well as the public a venue in which to engage the perspective of Muslim African-American leadership on the challenges facing our collective pursuit of a ‘more perfect union.

Attendance is FREE and OPEN to the public! Doors open at 12 noon.
